Bingo Dobbers and Bibles
Acrylic on Canvas. 2000.

Southwestern Winter
India Ink and Gouache on Paper. 2013.
From the artist: Originally designed for a Christmas card for First American Art Magazine. I have appropriated Rick Griffin artwork from Zap Comics, and Acee Blue Eagle’s “Echogee” the Little Blue Deer in one painting/drawing. I am paying homage to two of my major influences in one piece.
The Chain of Being
Acrylic and metallic paint on Canvas. 2016.
From the artist: Based on a discussion My Wife and I had for a year on the “ The Chain of Being “. The Chain of Being is a philosophy based in the days of Aristotle. A Hierarchy that states that Life is in this order, God, Heavens, Angelic Beings, upper echelon of Man kind, Pheasant life, Beasts, Animals, Sealife, Insects, Plantlife and lastly Minerals and Earth. I argue in this painting that this order may be backwards or out of sorts.
One side (left) of the diptych is told from the Earth’s point, while the Chain of Being is showcased inside a Copperhead Snake (right), a deadly Snake that I grew up in fear of growing up in Oklahoma. This painting took a year to discuss, then a year to execute.
